Organising a week of activities, taking into account the focal theme.
Actions relative to the theme:
- Del 5 al 15 de setembre: exposició de la Diputació de Barcelona "Mobilitat urbana, reptes i solucions". Lloc: castell de Pallejà
- 16 de setembre 2017: caminada cultural. Ruta per conèixer els forns de calç de Pallejà.
- 22 de setembre 2017: dia sense cotxes (carrers encara per definir)
- 24 de setembre 2017: pedalada contra el canvi climàtic
- Data per definir. Visita de l'estació de mesura de la qualitat de l'aire de Pallejà amb alumnes de l'institut
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
22 de setembre 2017: Dia sense cotxes. L'àrea de tancament al trànsit serà la zona cèntrica del nucli urbà: carrers Miquel Ricart, Martí Julià, Castell i Torres i Bages. El PMUS de Pallejà preveu convertir aquesta zona en una zona d'ús exclusiu per a vianants i bicicletes, i per tant el "Dia sense cotxes" servirà de prova pilot.

Permanent measures implemented this year:
New or improved bicycle facilities
  • Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
Pedestrianisation
  • Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
Accessibilities
  • Create wheelchair ramps
  • Enlargement of pavements
New forms of vehicle use and ownership
  • Other: Estacions de càrrega per vehicles elèctrics
Mobility management
  • Launch of awareness-raising campaigns
  • Development of travel plans / mobility plans in consultation with local stakeholders
