10:30 a.m. Measurement of outdoor noise levels by the Green Patrol of the Local Police.
10:30 a.m. Demonstrative measurements of greenhouse gas emissions, set-up and tire pressure in cars, carried out by a mobile Inspection Unit. With the collaboration of: ITVELESA.
11:30 a.m. Guided visit to the Demonstration Center for Renewable Energies. Development of activities about sustainable mobility and the annual theme of the EMW campaign ‘Walk with us!’.
5:30 - 8:00 p.m. 'Chiquivolantes', circuit of cars and metered parking for children to promote road safety. With the collaboration of: EULSA. Padre Javier de Valladolid Park.

4:30 - 8:30 p.m. Outdoor activities at street to enjoy urban open space ‘Walk with us!' and circuit of Personal Mobility Devices: hoover boards, hoover karts and scooters. With the collaboration of: MODI - Movement and fun. Cathedral Square.
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.

Implementing one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.
Permanent measures implemented this year:
New or improved bicycle facilities
  • Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
  • Develop public bicycle hiring and sharing systems
Pedestrianisation
  • Create or enlarge pedestrian streets
  • Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
Mobility management
  • Adoption of school travel plans
  • Launch of awareness-raising campaigns
  • Elaboration of educational materials
  • Permanent access restriction to city centres
