Detailed description (English): FIA Region I's conference Safe road to school will take place on 22 September 2016 from 14:00-17:30 with special guest speaker MEP Olga Sehnalova. It will bring together representatives from the European traffic education stakeholders and policymakers for a constructive dialogue on strategies to improve road safety for children.
FIA Region I's road safety campaign on the visibility of children at night, Stay Bright, will be launched at this event. The conference is organised in cooperation with Ustrední Automotoklub Ceské Republiky (ÚAMK), in conjunction with the European Traffic Education Contest (ETEC) in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic. It has the support of the European Commission and the Region of Ústí.
