Detailed description (English): The 'Ethnic Festival - The Alphabet of Cohabitation' is part of our eTwinning project called Youth for CULTURE 2018 a sequel of YOUTH ON THE MOVE 2017 , a valuable project awarded in the contest of COE 'Move2learn, Learn2move'.
The project pleads for the necessity to protect, preserve and promote cultural heritage in general and the declared or proposed World Heritage sites in particular. The project furthermore aims at demonstrating the value of all types of education as an approach to disseminate the international and national traditions and values to young people in particular.
We propose to explore opportunities for a genuine dialogue between the eTwinners involved in the promotion and protection of the variety of cultural forms and aspects, especially in the actual crisis of migration that often puts in danger the preservation of the artefacts, causing confusion about the national cultural heritage.
The work process will have the duration from October 2017 to June 2018. The students are going to exchange materials, photos, videos, mails, using chats, forums/Facebook page 'Toma N.Socolescu' Projects in English or Romanian, thus improving their communication skills , cooperating with their classmates and with students of other countries, in the spirit of the collaborative work, activity with potential to lead to cultural school exchanges with the partners.
