Detailed description (English): “Roundtable Meeting on Mobility and Road Safety” invites the key Government stakeholders, national partners, as well as, leading civil society organizations to discuss the current challenges of mobility and road safety in Tashkent city, as well as outline the roadmap for future developments. It is expected that the Meeting will become yet another important cornerstone building the national momentum to improve road safety in the country.
The Meeting is organized by the European Union Delegation to Uzbekistan and Tashkent City Khokimiyat (Municipality) in partnership with the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Interior and United Nations.
The Delegation of the European Union to Uzbekistan and Tashkent City Khokimiyat (Municipality) in partnership with the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Interior and the United Nations are organising the Roundtable Meeting on Mobility and Road Safety on 18th of September 2019 in the framework of EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK, the global campaign which was initiated in Uzbekistan for the first time.

Objectives: It is anticipated that the meeting will facilitate an open discussion on current challenges of mobility and road safety issues in Tashkent city and expertise on best practices from other countries which could provide a good perspectives for future development and cooperation.
