This action will also aim to direct the attention of local authorities in Botosani Municipe and Botosani County on the opportunity of their active involvement in the development of urban network of routes for non-polluting urban transport, such as bicycles, tricycles, and rollers.
In addition, a group of students from the 12th grade, coordinated by teacher Rodica Gavril, all of the Gheorghe Asachi Technical College Botosani, implement, between May 2017 and May 2018, a pilot extra-curricular educational project, called 'Buddy Building & Mentoring', in partnership with Asociatia Informala a Vocilor pentru Incluziune (AIVI – Informal Association of Voices for Inclusion), Cluj-Napoca, president being Ms. Iulia Rosca-Dromereschi.
One of this project actions includes a suite of workshops and in-door-out-door activities, which will be developed by the students in the target group, along with other interested colleagues, in October 2017, together with some AIVI volunteers, involved in the project. The results obtained within this MOBILITY ACTION will be presented and capitalised in a thematic workshop presentation. Volunteers will provide examples of good practice with regard to bicycle and trotting mobility in the cities where they participated in such actions. Together with the students, they will initiate a project dedicated to sustainable, healthy, instructive and funny urban mobility, by building at least one permanent or seasonal tourist route in Botosani. The project will be submitted to local authorities in Botosani, aiming to obtain financial support for its implementation.
