Actions relative to the theme:
Réalisation par le Conseil municipal des enfants d'un clip sur la sécurité routière aux abords des écoles « Les accidents, ça n’arrive pas qu’aux autres » pour distribution dans les 98 écoles de la ville.
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
- Ouverture d’une nouvelle Maison du vélo à la Bastide (la 3ème après Bordeaux centre et Caudéran) : espace d’information et de conseils qui centralise le prêt de vélos - plus de 4000 vélos sont gratuitement mis à disposition des Bordelais.

Permanent measures implemented this year:
New or improved bicycle facilities
  • Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
