The participant is committed to:

Organising a week of activities, taking into account the focal theme.
Actions relative to the theme:
• Организиране провеждането на открити уроци за подрастващите на тема „Правила за безопасно движение и устойчиви начини на придвижване в града”.
• Викторини с въпроси за ползите към околната среда от устойчивото придвижване в града.
• Игри и спортни състезания за деца (рисунка на асфалт, състезание по колоездене, маратон, изложба на велосипеди и др.
• Демонстрации с велосипеди, ролери и скутери,
• Работилници на открито за велоремонти;
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
Implementing one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.
Permanent measures implemented this year:
New or improved bicycle facilities
  • Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
  • Improvement of bicycle facilities (parking, locks etc)
Pedestrianisation
  • Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
Public transport services
  • Improvement and extension of the public transport services (express services, increase frequency etc)
  • Use of ecological vehicles for public transport fleets
  • Development of new technologies to improve public transport
Traffic calming and access control scheme
  • Create park and ride stations
  • New traffic regulations: traffic circulation and parking
Accessibilities
  • Launch of accessibility plans
Mobility management
  • Launch of awareness-raising campaigns
