Actions relative to the theme:
Various activities organised to improve local air pollution and reduce CO2 emissions, for example the "Electric Avenue"market, where people could see and try out electric vehicles. The Car Free Day and other activities are related to the programme nieuwamsterdamsklimaat" (New Amsterdam Climate).
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
