Organising a week of activities, taking into account the focal theme.
Actions relative to the theme:
Nastavak stalnih aktivnosti razvoja održivog gradskog prometa, kroz tjedan dana događanja kojima se potiče promjena načina putovanja. Cijelog tjedna održava se natjecanje škola "Put oko svijeta u pet dana" i natjecanje poduzeća "Na posao bez automobila". U školama i vrtićima održavaju se biciklističke radionice, vožnje spretnosti i vještine, organiziraju se šetnje Koprivničkim stazama zdravlja i biciklijade. Započinje izrada Plana održive gradske mobilnosti (SUMP), provode se preventiven akcije za bicikliste i pješake, ocjenjuje prijelaze i upozorava na probleme dostupnosti. Obilježit će se i Međunarodni dan zaštite ozonskog omotača s posebnim osvrtom na promet, Dan europske suradnje susretom djece i biciklista na drž.granici te Dan zdrave hrane, sporta i aktivnog kretanja.
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Za pristup motornim automobilima dana 22. rujna 2012. biti će zatvoreno središte grada i to:Zrinski trg, florijanski trg, Trg bana Jelačića, Svilarska ulica, Ulica Antuna Nemčića, dio Frankopanske ulice, ulica Đure Estera, Mosna ulica i Potočna ulica.

Permanent measures implemented this year:
New or improved bicycle facilities
  • Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
