Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
The Oficina de Segurança's team will be in the school areas making quizzes to understand what enables kids from doing home -school by foot. Violeta Stop, the traffic mascote will be next to the kids and parents giving flyers.
There will also be a "special bike contest" for the students. It is a bike that with a dynamo and the kid Cycling, produces energy to turn on some lights.
