Málaga organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
The three main sustainable means of transport including their interconnections (public transport, bicycle, walking) are the basis of most of the planned activities. These means of transport contribute to the economic growth, the social cohesion and the protection of the environment, ensuring, this way, a better quality of life for citizens.

Málaga implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Car-free day Car-free day

Málaga carries out a Car-Free Day 2014 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
XII Edition Bicycle Day 21 September.
Avenida de Andalucía.
Paseo del Parque.
Paseo Marítimo Antonio Machado and other streets.
The area(s) will be closed to motorized traffic during the event.
