San Vito dei Normanni organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2013, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
16/9: children and students meet Raffaella Mulato and Riegger Stephan, authors of "Scarpe blu", a book about tenable mobility.
20/9: mobility happening, organized by FIAB (Italian Federation Bike's Friends). Organizer will give a prize to people who use bikes.
22/9: during the moblity day, the historical centre of town will be colsed to cars. In the main square it will be organized children games and a sightseeing tour. This is also a day of information, promotion and development about tenable mobilty.

Car-free day Car-free day

San Vito dei Normanni carries out a Car-Free Day 2013 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
On 22th of September there will be restricted to car in addition to Leonardo Leo square (the main square), Leonardo Leo walk (perpetual pedestrian zone): San Giovanni st, Annibale De Leo rd, dr. Vincenzo Azzariti rd, Vittorio Emanuele 3rd avenue, Dante Alighieri st, Francesco Crispi st, Vito Carbotti st, Thomas Edison st, Carlo Galasso st and Ortensio Leo st.
