Car-free day Car-free day

Gdańsk carries out a Car-Free Day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Free public transport for people leaving their cars at home and traveling by public transport

Stagiewna Street in Gdańsk is permanently disabled from pedestrian traffic since August 1, 2017. Since then, it is exclusively for pedestrian traffic.
