Grodzisk Mazowiecki organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2018, taking into account the annual theme.

22 September
Free public transport for all inhabitants of the Municipality of Grodzisk Mazowiecki. Renting a city bike for one hour will become free of charge (usually it's 20 minutes).

Grodzisk Mazowiecki implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

New or improved bicycle facilities
Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
Develop public bicycle hiring and sharing systems
Improvement of bicycle facilities (parking, locks etc)
8 more city bikes with child chairs, three new city bike stations were created, 610 m of cycling paths were opened, 11 km of new cycling paths are being currently constructed in the Municipality, 126

Improvement and extension of the public transport network (creation of HOV lanes for public transport modes, new stops, new lines, reserved areas etc)
Two extra free-of-charge bus lines that ride in the morning and after 4 pm every 10 minutes. Buses are free for everybody. The lines are connecting two districts with the railway station.

Grodzisk Mazowiecki carries out a Car-Free Day 2018 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
