Activities within the week Activities within the week

Grimsby organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2006, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
North East Lincolnshire Council run a year round campaign promoting sustinable travel choices, to reduce congestion, improve air quality and accesibility and encourage healthier forms of travel. This promotional activity supports the investment in cycling, walking and public transport facilities. For Mobility week we will be creating a giant public work of art from one of our town centre streets, encouraging our local communities to think more about how we could make alternative and better use of our road space.
