Dublin City Council organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2006, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
On a City wide basis Dublin City Council has, just in the last month, carried out an assessment of CO2 emissions from its fleet of vehicles. Approximately 6,800 tonnes of CO2 is emitted in a year. In monetary terms this has a cost of approximately €95,000 per annum. Work is continuing on a programme to make the fleet more environmentally friendly and it is proposed to formally adopt policies to this end, later on in the year.

Permanent measures Permanent measures

Dublin City Council implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.
