Groningen organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2007, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
- the alderman places a statue to "put the car aside"
- sporting clubs presenting themselves on a sportsmarket at the central square
- economic driving challange with two celebreties
- a market with economic and hybrid cars at the central square
- a show with several boats powered by solar energy
- a reception-party for the CNG-caravan and market of vehicules powered by sustainable fuels
- an action to increase the number of children and parents going to school by bicycle and walking
- free rides on the touristic boat around the town center and free canoeing
- opening the first CNG-fillingstation in town.
