Durante a Semana Europeia da Mobilidade irá haver uma grande exposição à semelhança do ano anterior de "Energias Renováveis/Fornos Solares/Mobilidade Sustentável" de 19 a 22 de Setembro. Pretende-se que esta mostra conte, nomeadamente, com stands de entidades públicas e privadas empenhadas na divulgação das energias alternativas renováveis, como contributo para a promoção das energias renováveis e da mobilidade sustentável.

Car-free day Car-free day

Faro carries out a Car-Free Day 2007 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
A Zona encerrada ao trânsito automóvel insere-se no Núcleo Histórico da Cidade Velha.
Tentando-se desta forma aumentar a consciencialização dos cidadãos para os efeitos na qualidade do ambiente, resultantes das suas escolhas sobre o modo de transporte, proporcionar aos cidadãos oportunidades para se deslocarem a pé, utilizarem a bicicleta e os transportes públicos, em vez do automóvel privado.
