This year we shall join in the European Mobility Week starting Saturday 16th and ending Friday 22nd September 2007 by organizing competitions with children from Tandarei who are to compeate with roller skating and bicycles

Tandarei implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Create or enlarge pedestrian streets
Car-free day
Tandarei carries out a Car-Free Day 2007 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
We are goin to restrict the circulation to the private cars on Saturday 22 September 2007 in the center of the town.
