Gostivar carries out a Car-Free Day 2007 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:

The restricted zone will be the center of the city, the main streets over 1 kilometres. Only the periferia will functionate as always.
