Car-free day Car-free day

Győr carries out a Car-Free Day 2007 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
This is the second most busiest street of our city cold Szigehty Attila street. There are 4 traffic lanes on it. The noise and air pollution is on the large side because there are not only cars but heavy trucks on it.
Local traffic and through traffic characterized it as well but it is in a living space.
The restricted zone is 350 meters for all day long. (22 Sept. 06.00- 23.Sept. 04.00)
