Πάτρα (Patras) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2008, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
-Distribution of information leaflets for the sustainable mobility week in the schools of the city,
-Provision of bikes during the entire week,
-Function of bike-roads in the city center,
-Demonstration of one solar and one electrical car,
-Scientific conference,
-Closing of the city centre,
-Events in the city center with the participation of students from the schools and other institutions of the city.

Car-free day Car-free day

Πάτρα (Patras) carries out a Car-Free Day 2008 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Closing of the city centre in the private cars and the cars of professional use on Saturday 20th of September for 6 hours and the locomotion of citizens in this area will become with urban buses free of charge, bicycles and pedestrians
