地産地消・フードマイレージ、水資源保存の為の水販売など食に関するゾーンを設け、おいしい食材を提供し食を通して、自然の大事さ、循環、環境（空気）の大切さを感じてもらう。

YOKOHAMA carries out a Car-Free Day 2008 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
