Campia Turzii organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2008, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
the informing concerning the effects of the degradation of the ozone stratum, the importance of the reduction measures of the emissions of CO2;
-the changing of the emplacement of the market meant to the strolling trade in the central area including the streets: Baii, George Cosbuc, Gheorge Doja, Parc on the plateau where "The days of Campia Turzii" takes place;
- a sounding abreast of the population regarding the Campagne- The Week of the European Mobility";
-"Fresh Air for everybody"- action of informing-education in the schools regarding the effects of the pollution, the importance of the application of the measures of reduction of CO2;
- the cleaning of the river courses in the Municipality of Campia Turzii: Trasnita, Bogatel, Racosa, Aries - with the supporting of the people benefited of the social help and the operator of cleaning SLCIAS;
- the distribution of the folders containing information reffering to the "The Week of the European Mobility 2008";
- "Day without cars"- the citizens of Campia Turzii will be invited to join the european initiative and to travel without their own car this day.

Car-free day Car-free day

Campia Turzii carries out a Car-Free Day 2008 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
- it is forbiden the standing of the cars with the authorized maximum weight bigger than 3,5 tones on the roadway of the public roads, sidewalks, drains, green and the neighbouring areas of the public roads in the Municipality of Campia Turzii ( Decision no.82 from 24.09.2007);
