Car-free day
Gyál carries out a Car-Free Day 2008 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
A Szent István utca a Kőrösi úttal (4 számjegyű országos főút) párhuzamosan futó, jelentős forgalmú utca, mely két közpark tengelyén is áthalad. Elsősorban autóval, kerékpárral és gyalogosan használják a lakosok. A parkokon való áthaladás miatt fokozott a balesetveszély.
