All week
Town of Sandanski as international climathological resort was introduced measures in favor of providing clean air to the local citizens and tourists.
Form the beginning 80's years of the 20-th century, major part of the center of Sandanski - central trade street and 3 squares are transformed into fully pedestrian zones (only access of police, fire department and ambulance is permitted 24h, and partially permitted access only in some hours for loading/unloading of the cars of the shop owners/.
Municipality of Sandanski is promoting continuously trough the year’s alternative transportation - pedestrians and cycling campaign.
In the years of economical transformation, the logical network of public transport was demolished. But in the last years, with many efforts we start once again to rebuild the public transport network and we try to gain more citizens and tourist traveling with the public transport.
