Poreč organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2009, taking into account the annual theme.

Grad Poreč se ove godine po prvi put pridružio obilježavanju Europskog tjedna kretanja u razdoblju od 16.- 22. rujna. Cilj ovogodišnjeg obilježavanja je promovirati kretanje, potaknuti građane na zdrave izbore, te upozoriti na probleme, kao što su prometna zagušenost, pojačana buka i onečišćenje zraka, te jačanje svijesti o održivom gradskom prometu kroz korištenje drugih načina kretanja u prometu (pješačenja, biciklizma i sl.), te informiranja o riziku dugoročnog korištenja osobnog automobila, kao jedinog prijevoznog sredstva.
Uvjereni smo da će izvrsni rezultati u organizaciji i realizaciji brojnih dosadašnjih aktivnosti, programa, planova i projekata, koji pridonose održivom životu i razvoju u našem gradu, biti i u okviru ovih prigodnih tematskih aktivnosti prepoznati, te da će im se građani odazvati i uključiti prema vlastitom afinitetu.
