Car-free day Car-free day

Szentes carries out a Car-Free Day 2009 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
A városközpont Jövendő utca, Horváth Mihály utca, József Attila utca, Új utca, Somogyi Béla utca és Klauzál utca által határolt területe, amelyet a Kossuth Lajos utca oszt ketté. Ez a város legfrekventáltabb területe. Itt található a pénzügyi és a kersekedelmi létesítmények jelentős hányada. A forgalomkorlátozással közvetlenül a Kossuth Lajos utca érintett, amelynek napi gépjármű forgalma 10.000 ejm.
