Osijek organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2009, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
1. Press conference by the Mayor that presents the events that will take place in Osijek during the mobility week

2. Cleaning unauthorized garbage disposals in the city and planting new trees on those places.

3. The city will organise biking of the citizens throughout the city lead by Vice Mayors of the city.

4. Several streets in the city will be closed for traffic (the main streets) and during that time the children will be coloring the streets with chalks.

Car-free day Car-free day

Osijek carries out a Car-Free Day 2009 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Only private parking lots built with residents buildings and company's buildings.
