VIDELE, JUD. TELEORMAN organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2009, taking into account the annual theme.
Permanent measures
VIDELE, JUD. TELEORMAN implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.
New or improved bicycle facilities
Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
Pedestrianisation
Create or enlarge pedestrian streets
Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
Car-free day
VIDELE, JUD. TELEORMAN carries out a Car-Free Day 2009 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
There is an event Videle Town Hall will organize , which is a skateroller contest taking place on Lipscani street , named “green street” after the project that has been implemented for already several years.
Another event will be a bicycle competition in the park of Videle town with the participation of pupils from the Schools no. 1 and 3 .
