Activities within the week

Mosfellsbær organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2009, taking into account the annual theme.

16. september: Politicians and general public introduced to Eco driving through driving simalators. A competition between politicians.
17. september: A forum about transportation and climate for the general public.
18. september: Playschools encourage teachers and parents to leave their car at home this day.
Bicycle BMX show for kids and bicycle track for kids.
19. september: Bicycleday, bicyclegroup cycling downtown Reykjavik joined by most towns on the way.
20. september: Inhabidants encouraged to use the local cycling paths in the town.
21. september: Bus day. Public encouraged to take the bus, while taking part in a treasure hund for movie tickets on board the busess.
22. september: Introduction of environmentally friendly transportations, such as electric cars, electric bicycles, methan cars, hybrid cars, etc.
