Activities within the week

Fukui (福井市) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2009, taking into account the annual theme.

「クルマをおいてホジロバ交通で街に出よう！」というテーマを掲げ、モビリティウィーク期間中に、クルマからホジロバ交通（歩行者・自転車・路面電車・バス）へのモーダルシフト目標を毎日設定し、都市の気候改善に寄与するよう促します。
・9月16日（水）から18日（金）までは『通勤にクルマを使わない日』
・9月19日（土）は『徒歩の日』
・9月20日（日）は『バスの日』
・9月21日（月祝）は『電車の日』
・9月22日（火祝）は「カーフリーデー」『自転車の日』

Car-free day

Fukui (福井市) carries out a Car-Free Day 2009 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
