Ivanić-Grad organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2009, taking into account the annual theme.

3. Improving city climates: City Council will adopt several policies (Noise mapping of City of Ivanic-Grad and Environmantal Protection Progam, Air quality measuring)
4. Presentation of Energie efficiency projects in City of Ivanic-Grad (Display Campaign, Covenant of Mayors)

Car-free day Car-free day

Ivanić-Grad carries out a Car-Free Day 2009 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Between September 16 and September 22, Central Square of Ivanic-Grad (Vladimir Nazor Square) will be closed for motorized traffic. During all EMW city authorities will explain to citizens importance of permanent square closing especially according to last year failure.

September 22, all streets near by schools and kindergartens will be closed for traffic.
