Within the EMW 2009 the Province of Treviso will organise different activities: public discussions about local sustainable energy and climate change, seminaries for schools in health, environment, student mobility and bicycle tours for citizens.
The Province of Treviso coordinates local authorities in the organisation of some events about these topics. This year, 53 local authorities participate in the EMW 2009.
For this event, the Province of Treviso is going to involve also 3 Local Health Associations with a view to promote bicycle and pedestrian mobility as health aspects.
We will also involve the provincial association of bicycle shops in order to get 5of them applying a 10% discount on bicycle repairing, maintenance and/or purchase of a new bicycle.
For this year, there is a collaboration with the Design and Arts Faculty (University of Venice) to realise an exhibition of urban design and sustainble mobility.
