Together with Östsam Regional Development Council (Regionförbundet Östsam) we are planning following activities ;

• There will be advertisements in the local papers announcing which activities that will take place in the region during this week. The activities will go under the name ”Klimatsmart i Östergötland” which means Climate Smart region.

• As an advertisement for the European mobility week there will be cars that have covers saying ”Give your car a day off on the 22th of September!” placed out, from 16th of September and throughout the whole European mobility week. The cars will be strategically placed, in busy places, such as roundabouts or in the town square.

• All the local authorities make an extra effort in order to encourage all those citizens who choose an environmentally friendly and sound transport alternative on the 22th of September. Representatives from the municipality will be standing along the bicycle paths, bus and railways stations and encourage the habitants who choose to bicycle, walk or take bus/train. The people who choose one of these ways to get to work will be getting a reflector tag shaped as a bus, a bicycle map in the municipalities who have bicycle maps, and a fruit.
