Quito organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2010, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
- main campaign in mass media and public spaces for promoting bus transporte services given by the municipality
- campaign the whole week for respect of bus stops for bus drivers and passengers
- campaign for respect of zebra lanes for pedestrians and car drivers
- Move by bike event for public servants, ministries, the president and the major on 22th september
- pilot program of a public bike system implementing 10 stations with 100 bikes
- a forum with 11 other cities about the control and managing of transport and transit for sustainable mobility
- a forum for bus drivers of how improving the service and ecodrivin
- a forum for civil society organizations promoting non-motorized transport

Quito carries out a Car-Free Day 2010 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
