Participation 2010

Activities within the week Activities within the week

Karlstad organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2010, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
During this year´s Mobility week, we are advertising a photo contest, were we are looking for "climate heroes" who travel eco-friendly to, for exampel their work or to school. Citizens who wants to participate in the contest, can send us their photo and a motivation until September the 16th.

The motivation shall tell why they are suitable for the award "Climate Hero of Karlstad". The first prize is an electric bicycle. A jury consisting of some local celebrities will pickout the winner. We will also raffle smaller prizes among the other participants.

The photos will be exhibitioned in public aswell.

In the evening of September 22, we will organize a ceremony were the winner will be awarded and during which there will be some entertainments.

So far this event has been noticed in local radio and local newspapers. We also have some fans at Facebook.
