PROVINCIA DI ROMA organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2011, taking into account the annual theme.
- The second edition of the invitation addressed to the municipalities of the province for the allocation of electric bikes for those who has the best cycling projects
-Donation of bicycle racks at 40 high schools in Rome and province, which have raised the need to provide alternative transportation to scooters and mini-cars for students
- - Launch of an invitation addressed to the municipalities for the allocation of electric shuttle buses for domestic travel agencies who will present the better plan to local public transport

PROVINCIA DI ROMA implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Car-free day
PROVINCIA DI ROMA carries out a Car-Free Day 2011 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
all municipalities in the province that will adhere to "A day without my car"
