Cork organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2011, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Actions will promote alternative mobility and active modes of transport i.e. walking and cycling and also public transport. The aim will be to reach as many people as possible and to have a wide impact. The target audience is the people of Cork and those who travel to the city for work, shopping etc. The following are some of the proposed events:

Alternative Mobility Awareness Campaign (Radio/Newspaper/Posters/Flyers
Pedometer Challenge - Routes for Walk/Cycle to Work with large employers (UCC, Apple, ESB etc) Promotion/Giveaways

Bike Maintenance Workshops
Rickshaw History Tours
Promote Cork Historical Walks
Launch 3rd Historical Walk
