Mukachevo organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2011, taking into account the annual theme.

Improvement and extension of the public transport network
Establisment of movement limiters (barriers) for cars in central pedestrial part of town.
Organizing a mass bicycle run through the city.
Promotion of alternative mobility, healthy and environmentally safe means of transportation by organizing thematic competitions, round tables, exhibition etc.
Raising awareness of Mukachevo residents about the usefulness and benefits of alternative mobility.

Car-free day Car-free day

Mukachevo carries out a Car-Free Day 2011 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Part of one of central streets of the city's largest residential area - Rosvyhivska Street.
