Caldas da Rainha organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2012, taking into account the annual theme.

A cidade de Caldas da Rainha este ano realiza um conjunto de actividades que procuram sensibilizar a população para a utilização de transportes suaves (bicicleta, motociclo) articulados com a rede de transportes públicos (rede urbana de transporte, Rede-Expressos, CP e avião).
Nesse sentido foram criadas as seguintes iniciativas:
- Loja da Mobilidade CR (13 a 23 Set) com website redes sociais
- Campanha de Eco-Trocas (17 a 23 Set) - "Recicle por um bilhete de transporte" -20 garrafas de plástico = 1 bilhete de transporte, iniciativa da CIM Oeste, Oeste Sustentável e Marcar o Ritmo Associação com apoio da Câmara (transporte urbano TOMA) e da ValorSul.
- Utilização de código de cores para dautónicos (16 Set - 22 Set) para identificação e comunicação sobre as linhas de transporte TOMA, com o apoio ColorAdd.
- Seminário sobre "Sustentabilidade em Movimento" 17 Set
- Conferências nas escolas do municipio "Mobilidade em Segurança"
- Workshop's "Mecânica Básica de Bicicletas" - com apoio EcoSprint / Bike Zone.
- Renovação do sistema de partilha de bicicletas, Rainhas Bike Sharing, com novos locais de entrega recolha de bicicletas.
- Realização de um desafio de mobilidade, onde 3 utilizadores (bicicleta, transporte público e automóvel) realizam acções em 4 espaços da cidade, sendo efectuadas medições: ao nível do utilizador (Frequência Cardiaca e Consumo energético) e ao nível do meio de transporte utilizado (tempo e dinheiro dispendidos).

The town of Caldas da Rainha this year performs a set of activities that seek to raise awareness of the use of soft transport (bicycle, motorcycle) articulated with the public transport network (urban transport network, Network-Expressed, and CP plane) .
In this sense they created the following initiatives:
- Shop Mobility CR (13-23 Sep) with website social networks
- Campaign Eco-Swaps (17 to Sep 23) - "Recycle for a transport ticket" -20 plastic bottles = 1 transport ticket, the CIM initiative West, Mark West and Sustainable Rhythm Association with the support of the House (transportation urban TOMA) and Valorsul.
- Use of color coding for dautónicos (Sep 16 - Sep 22) to identify and report on transmission lines TAKES with support ColorAdd.
- Seminar on "Sustainability in Motion" 17 Sep
- Conferences in schools of the municipality "Security in Mobility"
- Workshop's "Basic Mechanics of Bicycles" - with support EcoSprint / Bike Zone.
- Renewal of bike-sharing system, Queens Bike Sharing, with new delivery locations collection of bicycles.
- Conducting a mobility challenge, where 3 users (bicycle, public transport and car) perform actions 4 spaces in the city, measurements being made​​: the user level (heart rate and energy consumption) and the level of the means of transport (time and money spent).

Caldas da Rainha carries out a Car-Free Day 2012 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
