Aljustrel carries out a Car-Free Day 2012 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
A zona encerrada é uma via com 86 metros de comprimento, situa-se numa zona principal da Vila de Aljustrel onde está concentrado o comércio local com um total de 22 lojas e o Mercado Municipal.
