Activities within the week

Beograd (Belgrade) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2013, taking into account the annual theme.

City of Belgrade will this year also participate in European mobility week between 16th and 22nd September with theme “Clear air – it’s your move!” and according to that will every day organize various activities and happenings witch promote ecological types of transport and alternative mobility (promotion of new trams, bicycle rides, promotion of new Zone “30” and new Home zone, press conferences witch promote sustainable traffic, workshops “Eco-drive” and “Clear air”, open competition for the best photograph that shows bicycle riding in Belgrade, etc.)

Within European mobility week which promotes alternative mobility, City of Belgrade, Secretariat for transport in cooperation with EU delegation in Serbia and with UNDP, from 16th till 22nd September will organize activates witch directly promote sustainable transport and send to citizens undivided message that with active participation should help in preservation and protection of the environment.

Permanent measures

Beograd (Belgrade) implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Car-free day

Beograd (Belgrade) carries out a Car-Free Day 2013 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
