Milano (Milan) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
During the mobility week the public administration, helped by local associations, will close to traffic two streets: corso Buenos Aires (on September 18th) and via Muratori. Those streets will be the scenario of events about environment and sustainable mobility.

Car-free day Car-free day

Milano (Milan) carries out a Car-Free Day 2014 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
The zone restricted to the private cars on September 18th is corso Buenos Aires a 1.2 km street, famous for its shopping calling. Via Muratori is a 150 metres street that connects viale Friuli (an higly-congested street) to viale Umbria (another highly-congested street).
