Activities within the week

Bistrita organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

1. Launching Traffic Snake Game Campaign in 7 primary schools in Bistrita City

2. Fair bicycles and spare parts

3. "Senior cyclists" Competition - will be awarded the three riders older than 60 years

4. “Family on two wheels” Competition - will be awarded families who attend the event at least two members on the bike

5. City bike tour on the route: City Hall – Gheorghe Sincai Street – Garii Street –Decebal Boulevard – Andrei Muresanu Street –Nasaudului Street – General Grigore Balan Street –Bistricioarei Street- Dornei Street –Piata Centrala – City Hall

6. Distribution of leaflets entitled “Cyclists guide”

Car-free day

Bistrita carries out a Car-Free Day 2014 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
