Isaccea organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

-Official statement to the press with the program of activities taking place during the mobility week
-Spreading informative materials (flyers) related to theme “Our streets, our choice”
-Ecological education campaign in school
-Contests and sports competitions for pre-school and school pupils
-Bike rides
Permanent measures
Isaccea implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.
New or improved bicycle facilities
Improvement of bicycle facilities (parking, locks etc)
Pedestrianisation
Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
Traffic calming and access control scheme
Speed reduction programmes in zones near schools
New traffic regulations: traffic circulation and parking
Freight distribution
New regulations for freight distribution
Mobility management
Elaboration of educational materials
Organisation of regular fora or surveys on public opinions and ideas
Car-free day
Isaccea carries out a Car-Free Day 2014 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
"M.Eminescu" street will be closed on 22.09.2014.
