Gubbio organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
The main actions that our municipal administration will realize on EMW are about sensitize citizens about using alternative forms of mobility. On the main event about our street our choise, in the city centre the traders will go out from their shops and occupy the public spaces. The streets will be free from private cars and citizens and tourists will go around them.

Car-free day Car-free day

Gubbio carries out a Car-Free Day 2014 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
There are one important area of Gubbio that's restricted to private car and it is Via Cavour. On the 21st september the entire city centre will be restricted to private car.
