Activities within the week Activities within the week

Bitonto organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
The Municipality of Bitonto will organize “Spring on bike”, a rich series of events and activities to coach the citizens to the European Mobility Week on September, and, as though last year, the second edition of a sustainable week “on two wheels” that we called as the mood of European campaign, Our streets, our choice, getting everyone on board: youngsters, elders, students, disabled, associations, doctors (in particular paediatrics), bike shops, libraries, politic groups, assessors and regional politicians.
Spring on bike is a great container where a lot of associations, according to their mission or capacity or competence, will organize event “on foot” and events “on bike” but also other activities that we have named “face to face”, to mean forum, reading, workshop, research, didactic laboratories, project work with Public Administration.
Our streets, our choice instead, will be the starting point for some initiatives that will continue during the whole year (i.e. pedibus), and activities that can be repeated during the next spring (i.e. ecological cycling). In addition, some permanent measures for sustainable mobility will be implemented.
