Cospicua organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
An internal green transport service will be provided to the residents of Cospicua using 2 electric vehicles. The service will be offered free of charge on the 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 & 22nd September from 8am till noon. A number of boarding and alighting points have been identified and the necessary signage will be fixed during the aformentioned days. The service aims to reduce the use of personal vehicles to travel short distances within the same locality, thus reducing the CO2 emissions in our city.’

Car-free day Car-free day

Cospicua carries out a Car-Free Day 2014 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
On the 19th September, 2014, Triq il-Pellegrinagg, will be closed to traffic
